Running of the Bulls
5 Day Coach/Camping Tour (4th – 8th July)
Day One – Depart London
Check in is at 9.00am for a 10.00am departure to Dover. We depart from Walkabout Shepherds Bush, situated near Shepherds Bush tube & rail station. The coach departs at 10.00am for Dover to catch the ferry to Calais. Once in France we take a leisurely drive south, through the Loire Valley towards sunny Spain. All Flightless Birds’ coaches come complete with stereo, video and toilet.Bring some drinks for the journey to start the trip as we mean to go on!
Day Two – Arrival
Welcome to Spain!
On arrival at the campsite in Pamplona you will be allocated your pre-erected tent. All you have to do is bring your own sleeping bag and any other sleeping gear you may need. The day will then be spent relaxing by the pool and settling in with your fellow festival-goers. Night time is party time!
Day Three – Opening Ceremony of the San Fermin fiestas
Today is the biggest day of the San Fermin festival. After a tasty full cooked breakfast provided by Flightless Birds, we will head into town for the midday opening ceremony and the street parties. Flightless Birds will run free shuttles back to the campsite throughout the afternoon and evening, finishing after the end-of-day fireworks at 11pm.
Day Four – The Running of the Bulls and departure
Feeling brave? You’ll need to be for the morning’s cattle-related activity. We will get you up early in time for the first running of the bulls of 2012 and then head back to the camp for brunch. You are free to spend the day relaxing at the campsite, or head back into town for a last look at Pamplona. In the afternoon there is a final to get some sangria down you before the trip home. We depart from the campsite in the early evening.
Day Five – Arrival back in London
All good things must come to an end and the Flightless Birds Pamplona tour ends here. Expected arrival back in Shepherds Bush at approximately 4pm.
